Reese Erlich, a longtime journalist who has covered the Middle East, will be speaking in Northampton on Monday, December 3rd at the Unitarian Society in downtown Northampton at 6:30pm. He will be discussing his recent book, The Real Story from Inside Iran and What’s Wrong with US Policy, which came out last month from Routledge Press (https://www.routledge.com/)

Erlich’s history in journalism goes back over 40 years. He first worked as a staff writer and research editor for Ramparts, an investigative reporting magazine published in San Francisco. Today he works as a full-time print and broadcast, freelance reporter. He reports regularly for ABC (Australia), Radio Deutsche Welle and National Public Radio. His articles have appeared in Politico, Foreign Policy, VICE News and The Progressive. His television documentaries have aired on PBS stations nationwide. Erlich writes a syndicated column “Foreign Correspondent,” which appears every two weeks in The Progressive and other websites.

Erlich was honored through an official resolution by the California State Senate on November 15, 2018. Prior to his talk on Monday, he will be interviewed live on The Bill Newman Show on WHMP at 9a.m.
