Censored Voices is an Israeli film drawn from censored audio tapes made within weeks of soldiers returning from the 1967 Six Day War .The film project was the initiative of Israel's best known anti-war author and activist Amos Oz to be shown in advance of the current 70th anniversary of the Israeli state and the Palestinian Nakba. Chappell will be coming to Western Mass the week of Veteran's Day (Nov. 12-15th) to speak about his newest book, Soldiers Of Peace and the importance of providing Peace Literacy in our schools.
