Criminalizing Dissent: The Attack on BDS & Pro-Palestinian Speech

November 12 @ 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm

Free

Leading pro-Palestinian voices headline this panel on accelerating efforts by U.S. political leaders, right-wing pro-Israel lobbying groups, and college and university administrators to silence pro-Palestinian speech on campuses and criminalize supporters of BDS, a nonviolent movement that aims to hold Israel accountable for its violations of Palestinian human rights. The panel will feature Harvard University Professor Cornel West, Palestinian rights activist Linda Sarsour, anti-racism activist Tim Wise, Shaun King of The Intercept and North Star, Dima Khalidi of Palestine Legal, and BDS co-founder Omar Barghouti, who has been barred from entering the U.S. by the Trump administration and will join the event live via Skype from Israel. The event is free but tickets are required. For tickets and more information, go to CriminalizingDissent.com.
