When Self-Care is Not Enough

March 5 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

This class will delve into the intersection between spirituality and social justice. Through discussion, reflection and various activities, we will explore together what this intersection is, why it is important and what it could look like in our own lives. This class is for anyone who struggles with despair; anyone who struggles with burnout; anyone who is spiritual and anyone who has never been spiritual. This class is for anyone trying to build a just world but unsure how to live through it.

Trainer: Liza Neal is a writer, activist, ordained United Church of Christ minister, partner, and mother. She was the Director of Spiritual Life at Hampshire College for 14 years and now offers spiritual direction exploring the liminal in-between places of our lives working for the day when we move beyond binaries and border
