A public celebration of Frances Crowe’s life and legacy was held on Sunday, September 8. There were two events:
- At 12pm noon at Pulaski Park in Northampton (240 Main Street), there was a Speak Out for everyone who wanted to express the impact of Frances’ life upon their work. Folks brought their signs, their spirit, and their voices! Immediately following the speak out, folks marched to Greene Hall at Smith College for the second event to remember Frances.
- 2PM at John M. Greene Hall at Smith College (60 Elm Street, Northampton) we had an Assembly and Program featuring music, speakers, and memories of Frances and her work.
